the hose that says "PRC TBU" that is connected to the TB. Mine is cracked and has no vacuum im sure. what is it?

part of your PCV system, it comes from the passenger side valve cover and goes into your TB.

thanks for the technical term, i just knew what it was for.
i have mine removed. i put a breather element into the pass valve cover. and plugged the TB with a vaccum cap??dont know the correct word, it just stops air from getting into your TB.
YES you need to get it fixed or do what i did, it is like having a huge vaccuum leak!

what that does is allow clean metered air to enter the crankcase to equalize the pressure that the pcvvalve sucks out. which allows for better ring sealing also because negative pressure in the c.c will be more suseptable to letting compresssion escape around the rings

It actually is more of a vent and at most times air travels from the TB to the valve cover. In some circumstances air does travel the other way, but it is not a vacuum line in the traditional sense. So it might not be the cause of your stumble. Easy to just plug it off to test, though.
