what paint to use on an engine block?

I used the stuff (maybe vht) from wal mart called engine enamel. Prepped with degreaser and brake cleaner. Never had a problem with it and still looks good after several years.

Ya I always have just used the cheapest engine enamel in a can too. I barely even clean the blocks and it sticks well.
