What oil pan for stroker?

Is the new design by Canton any good or is there any others?
I will be running a 4.00 stroke crank in my LT1

I beleive Musser had a canton pan with his 410 CI LT1. The only problems I've seen with it are if you have hooker LT's. There is minimal clearance for the oil level sensor and little room to move the headers. The canton pan gets most of its extra volume from widening the stock sump instead of it being deeper than the stock pan. I was reading some where that some one made a canto pan where the issues with the sensor were resolved. HTH

The previous canton pans had issues with long tube headers, oil sensor and the steering rack of some cars.
the modified design should have all these issues resolve. However on my car I had to have one notched for steering rack clearance.
I don't think it'll work out of the box with the 4.00" strock, you may have to bent the built in oil scrapper for it to work.
