I use Amsoil in all my vehicles, and what I do is to change the oil once a year, which is much cheaper than changing dino oil 4 times.
Thing is, you still need to change the filter every 3000 miles. That's not too bad, because you were changing that anyway.

So, assuming you pay a relatively high price for Amsoil, say $8/qt, you divide that by 4 and that's the same as $2 oil 4 times a year. If you drive a lot, the savings come faster because you would have changed you oil more often.

We don't got Kragen. Do they have them on display or do you have to ask for it. I have never seen any other types of filters on display anywhere.

Yeah come to think of it they got the same design as the Checkers Auto Parts stores we have. Still haven't seen any filters though. Thanks I'll ask them.

2) Here's a concept you may or may not be interested in; if you don't have anything even remotely useful/helpful to add to a conversation, the best policy is generally to keep your mouth shut. At least, that what wise people do. I have no idea if that applies to you of course...
