what new cam? cc503 (current)
spare you guys the details, but a rocker fell off the valve and the cam shaft is damaged. its a cc503, I really liked the cam. I do drive it to work from time to time, and on weekends
cc503
1.6 promags
918 springs
3 angle valve job
impy headgasket
very mild port and polish
longtube headers/ory magnaflow catback
m6 / centerforce clutch
madz28 tune
4:10 rear
should I get ls style lifters?

id say if you really liked it.... get another 503
if you go any bigger youre gonna loose the low end and it wont be as fun to drive.... depending on how you like your car to behave of course. but also bigger wont make much more power without some portwork
how much do u wanna drop? and how do you want the car to behave

You'll be fine with bigger u got 4.10's. I love my xfi280. 576/571 lift 230/236 duration. 113 lobe separation angle. The car has decent low range, great mid range and pulls like a freight train on top end. Also I have the 26918 beehive 's as well I use comp cams hydraulic lifters with no issue. You'll really notice this cam and so will everyone else. Good luck with whatever you chose

There is hope, I loved my CC306. I'm running a midsize cam in my DD and although low end is better it's not as fun. If I had the chance I'd run a CC306 again. Guys who get their stuff running right make 350-365 cam only with a CC306 and over 400rwhp with decent heads. I've seen 428rwhp through an auto and 9" rear [GTP LT4 heads]. Having the bump in compression will help out that CC306 as well.
Here is a 350, CC306, stock heads with LT4 valves, 11:1 compression. 6800 isn't necessary, peaked at 6300ish.
Let it eat!
