What mods to do with the engine pulled... ? ?

What mods are good to do with the engine pulled ?

So far, here is my list:

- Tranny Rebuild (with no engine, seems like a good time to rebuild this as well)

- AC delete / Radiator Relocate

- Alternator relocate

- Window washer fluid relocate, custom Ram Air / Z06 CAI fabrication.

- TPIS Coated headers (if they come coated)

- New CAM, undecided on which one I want to go with, I need the best cam designed for Supercharged (but Daily Driven) applications, so I need some ideas here.

- Powdercoated / Anodized Plenum, TB, and every metal engine component. (I get hooked up on powdercoating per run, so the more things I can do at once, the better..)

- New Spark Plugs, OTVC wires

- Engine dyno ?

- Port / Polish

- Fully repainted and polished engine bay

What are some good things to add to this list while the engine is out ?

I have over 100,000 miles, so what engine components should (or wisely could) be replaced at this time ? ?

I would def. think about new opti and electric water pump. !air and !egr delete too if emissions aren't a problem, this would clean up the engine bay nicely since you're powder coating items and repainting. And lastly, what about a new alternator? They have chrome ones out and anything over stock would definatly be a plus.

Do any of you have a system for keeping track of what part or bracket goes where in the engine bay ?

All the brackets and attachments will come back powdercoated so simply labelling them isn't really a option...

Any thoughts ?

For weight reduction only or is there another reason ?

Just curious.
