Look into tuning first. If you go too radical, then tune is off and you need to reprogram. Not sure of the ease in reflashing chips from 93's but I am certain it is more difficult than my 95.

Best first mod is a cold air intake (CAI). Then move to exhaust - headers, 3" catback, and then head/cam. Tune will have to be updated with each upgrade.

I agree with Injuneer, make it breathe, then you have a good base for a head cam upgrade. Have Fun with it.....

also dont forget a manifold. LT4 looks like a good choice. Im looking into the same upgrades when I get back from deployment in Nov 10. Since my car is bone stock I was gonna go with CAI,Lt's catback. Then move to head, cam, intake manifold(edelbrock) Once that is done throttle body and suspension upgrades will be next.

The Edelbrock intake manifold is a HUGE waste of money. And, a real LT4 intake will not bolt to LT1 heads without machine work. And after you got it bolted on, it wouldn't offer any performance improvement, since the runners are virtually identical to the LT1 runners. Stock LT1 intake should be ported by the same knowledgeable person who ports your LT1 heads.

What's your budget? How much horsepower do you want?

If you have a lot of money burning a hole in your pocket i'd go with a Loyd Elliot heads and cam package + headers and a tune.
