I'm looking at porting the entrance to my LT1 intake manifold to take advantage of the 58mm tb. I've had the car dyno tuned and all that, but would doing this consitute needing another tune?

i don't think it would, but don't quote me on this. All it is doing is allowing more air to enter the car. no different than adding a CAI.

 

You'll be fine. The BLM's should correct for it wanting to run a little leaner.

 

While a tune might make a little difference, I don't think it is enough to justify doing it.

 

On an A4, you might have some issues with shift points that require reprogramming. With an M6, it shouldn't be a problem.

The BLM's don't have to "correct for it wanting to run a little leaner".... if it actually flows more air, the MAF sensor will measure the added air flow, and the PCM will add the correct amount of fuel.

Might want to add tranny type to you signature.
