WHATS WILL FIX THIS I NEED HELP FROM SOME ONE ON THE BOARD
When I changed my clutch I put in a McLeod dual performance clutch. Since then it hasn't been as easy to shift out of first into neutral (when sitting still) sometimes, or going into gear sometimes...reverse qualifies under this category. For some reason, the clutch doesn't disengage fully (sometimes).... You may have the same problem. Try adding DOT-3 brake fluid to your clutch master cylinder.

I use Pennzoil Dex3 and change once a year. I used to use Mobil 1 ATF but it shifted funny when cold. I cannot tell a difference between the two when it comes to my t56.

I really doubt that Honda ATF is better than
the 3.8 quarts of Redline D4 ATF that i just put into my M6

http://www.redlineoil.com/products.htm

very smooth

I use Honda ATF, the BW 6-speeds like the stuff apparently. My shifting is smoother since I switched. Two Seattle mechanics, Z28.com members who do their work in Washington, and another friend mechanic of mine in L.A area all told me that the Honda ATF works REAL GOOD with our 6-speeds.

My tranny's happy, me happy!
