What kind of water to mix with Dex-Cool?
I draned my whole coolant system and want to fill it the right way.
Distilled water water right?
What kind fliterd.purfided,distilled,carbon filtered water?
Man it could drive a person crazy.
I have a publix by me.

Distilled water, readily avaliable at any grocery store.

 

Distilled only, it should be marked as just "distilled" not spring or filtered. Less than $1 a gallon.

 

i just used the water hose!

 

Water quality varies from state to state but here in CA the water is hard (full of minerals). Not good for the coolant system.

 

use creek water
