If it where me, I'd go with a Vig. 3200. That would be in a perfect world with no OBD1 shift problems.

2500 seems a little low. I was thinking somewhere around 3400 or so. Does anyone make a converter with a 3400 stall speed?

I actually bought the converter used off of a fellow board member here. I cant remember what I payed but I think it was around $200, got a great deal. The pn that I have is 243110, is a lock up converter, and sells for $599 new from TCI. Im sure you can get it cheaper somewhere else. Heres the link with all the info.

TCI's site is www.tciauto.com

Good luck.

Alright guys. Thanks for all your help. I am going to go with either that TCI 3500 or that Vig 3400. Depending on what prices I can find. Thanks alot for the help. Dustin.

Re: What kind of stall for CC305??

I totally agree. Make sure you shop around and dont put a converter in without a trans cooler, well, unless you like a burnt up tranny. The converter alone gave me .70 at the track. Id say thats been my favorite mod. Made the car way more fun to drive.
