I believe 100lbs = .10 reduction is the general rule so if you lost 50 up front it should be good for .05. It also helps out in weight transfer which is important in drag racing too, you want less weight up front and more toward the rear when launching. I'm sure it helped a bit with my times but one of the nicest gains I've seen since removing my a/c was more space under the hood. With the a/c lines, compressor and other parts gone it makes it much cleaner under the hood and easier to work on the passenger side. Removing the AIR and EGR just makes things even better

My AC was workin just fine when I yanked it out.
The 50 lbs off the nose of the car was great but now with the AC gone and the AIR gone its SO much easier to work on the damn thing..
I don,t miss it, my girlfriend does......but I don,t.

I am doing the A/C delete as we speak. You guys have to remember some of us don't live where it's 80 degrees everyday. Some of us live where it snows half the year and the rest of the year it's around 75........which you won't be sweating at all with the windows down-probably be shaking. If i lived in like cali or flordia or texas i would definately leave the AC in, heck i\d probably pay 1000dollars to fix it if i lived in texas where it reaches 100 degrees. So what's good for some is not good for others. Not to mention my ac is broke and i'm sure not paying up to 500 bucks for something i use only a few times a year. And that's all i have to say about that

see.... i live in cali... my A/C broke on the hottest day this year.... musta been 110* outside.... i was BAKING! GOD HELP THOSE IN MY CITY WITH NO A/C!!!!!!!!!!! (tries to get out of his chair, and comes to realize his back is now one with the chair......)

Well, i did notice a diff with the delete. I think part was because of the weight loss and the fact that the compressor was locking up putting stress on the engine. I didnt have money to replace the compressor for now so i just deleted it, plugged the lines and im going to wait till next year to replace it since its getting cooler.
