What internals mess up when an engine hydro locks?

WRONG. 4.3 motors have the 327 casting number as well(because they are the same exact block, except the 5.7 has a larger bore and longer stroke). Where you have to look is the stamp on the back of the block (above where the bellhousing bolts up to) and it will have the factory code, some misc numbers and either a 5.7 or 4.3 on it.
