What Injectors?

Alright so im finally starting to piece the rest of what I need for my cam swap together. I will be getting the injectors first off but didnt know if i should go with 30# or 36#. I will be running a cam slightly larger than a GM 847 and with a 100-150 shot of nitrous. thanks for the info....

I would think that without a set of heads you stock injectors should be fine. If you are running a wet shot, the nitrous doesnt change anything. And even though you are running a cam, I think a pressure adjustment would do. But dont quote me

Re: What Injectors?

36#'s or 42#'s..You can always tone them down, if needed. Then you'll have plenty for spray

Re: What Injectors?

He doesn't need "plenty for spray" with a wet system. All he needs to meet it the NA requirements of the engine with the cam he selected. I don't see "ported heads" in the mods list, so if its just a cam, stick with the stockers until you get the heads done.

Re: What Injectors?

If you've read any of my other posts on "injector sizing", you know I like big injectors. I just didn't want you spending your money on a set now, and finding they weren't big enough when you went to the ported heads.

If you think you will end up with no more than 450flywheelHP in the future, you could live with 30's. If you are thinking bigger, get the 36's. I can't think of any reason not to use a 36.
