What I thought was my ignition switch gone bad ended up being...
My stupid battery cable was loose. It couldn't be wiggled at the terminal, but I could spin the cable a little. it only took about 1/3 of a turn to tighten it up. I would have never thought it had to be that tight! Anyways, all is good now. My car was showing all the weird symptoms of a bad ignition switch.
