What is the A.I.R. pump?
What is the AIR pump for? What does it do? When I was installing my coil today I noticed mine was missing a bolt and it was a little loose. Could this cause some problems? Thanks

The missing bolt probably won't cause any problems...unless the thing is dangling around!
The AIR pump injects oxygen into the exhaust stream during cold start periods to help burnoff the rich mixture and enhance cat converter warmup.
