What is Hole on Front of Intake For?

Got my intake back from the powerder coaters but they left a cork (I think) in a hole that's in the front of the intake, below the 3 holes for the throttle body. Does a bolt go there to block it off or is it for a vacuum connection? You can see the spot in question in the picture, it's the painted round part down by the bottom.

No. In the 95-97 LT1's that is where the PCV valve vacuum line connects. In the 94's, it is plugged with a pipe plug. Not sure what, if anything was attached there in the 93's.

Thanks guys! I'll check into those. I hate all these vacuum lines, too easy to forget which is for which.

That's why they put the vacuum line diagram on top of the radiator cover.

Yeah you are right, I knew what it was just typed wrong . I am going to go back and change it to avoid confusion.

Correct, there is no PCV connection on the front of a 93 manifold.
It's on the side of the manifold, so the PCV tube is a U shape.

Is this the connection with the metal line with rubber connectors on both ends?

He's not asking about the open, black hole right below the throttle body bores. He's asking about a hole about 2" below the TB bores, that has a cork in it, and is covered with powder coat, making it almost invisible in the picture.
