What heads

I was wondering what heads i should get. I have the LT4 Hot cam but i was wondering if the lt4 heads are best bet or if there is a better set out there. Any advice would be apprecitated

There are plenty of head options out there it all depends on what your budget looks like. The hot cam is not that big of a cam, if you don't plan on getting too wild with your car a nice set of ported stock heads from Lloyd seems like they would suit you well.

I'm a big fan of the GM LT1/LT4 castings, bigger is not always better.

lt1 ported heads are pretty nice i hear, and can flow pretty well. I wish i could afford some AFR's, that's what i'd buy .. but right now im stuck with stock heads, lost my job today .. so i don't know if i'll even get it started any time soon

My ported LT1 heads flow 271 CFM @ .550"...With 2.0"-1.56" Manley Pro Flow valves. I spent $1100 to have them ported.

Depends on the compression ratio you want too... Depending on cam, you'll want to dial in your Dynamic Compression Ratio based on the cc's of your heads. Also, are you planning on any block work? That will have a factor in the type of head...

Sorry to hear about your job
