What headers for 95 z convert?

Just about to put a fresh rebuild (using an Lt1 from a 95 vette) in my z28 convert.-Popped the original & found a local engine builder who has a fresh rebuild from 95 vette. Can anyone tell me the best fitting model of headers for a convertable. Mine is a 1 cat stock exhaust with magnaflo muffler. I know that the convertables are different under car than the coupes & I believe the exhaust is routed differently. Just wondering what others have used on their converts & how the install went. Not sure if I can get engine in with headers on or if it needs to be done in car. Any help on this one would be appreciated.

I suggest something stainless or ceramic coated, like pacesetter, LPP, stainless works, kooks, etc.

..LOL..Any headers should be able to bolt on there, I've never heard of a special headers for convert.. What year is youre car? I'm assuming it's a 95, you have a choice between Long Tubes or Mid tubes, everyone on here will say Longtubes and I would agree. But it's your choice. Pacesetter, Jet-Hot, Hooker, are a few choices you might want to check out..the first two being price friendly..Good luck on your selection.

Same headers, coupe or convertible.

Your convertible has a larger "X-shaped" sheet metal brace across the tunnel, where the coupe has a simpler straight brace. Other than that, I never noticed any differences.
