What fuel pressure?

I have a 95 LT1 in my 88 RX7 convertible (you can take the boy out of detroit, but you can't take detroit out of the boy!!!!!) Before I blew up the wankle with an excess of NOS, I installed a huge high flow fuel pump.

This winter I had the heads built and ported, installed the smallest comp "extreme" cam, SLP headers, all the roller stuff, and 52 mm tb.

Its been running rich on the right side, and I finally checked the fuel pressure.

40 at idle, and 48 at acceleration?

WHere should it be?

With the vacuum line disconnected from the FPR you should read 44-46 psi at idle. 38-40 with the line reconnected. The PCM should compensate for the slightly increased fuel pressure by decreasing the injector pulse width though.

I've dinked with my lt1 edit, but the blm's are split pretty hard. I won't tune too much until I get a handle on all my issues.

Thanks for your response.

Dude, its never been tuned right; especially now.

Havn't been to the track since the mods. Yes, its fkn fast, but its fat too; 3200# with 1/4 tank of gas (the verts have extra uniframe supports.)

Full throttle at 48psi sound right?

What I am getting at is whether or not the fat fuel pump is contributing to my persistent stumble and split blm's.

Thanks all.

No worries brother. Its an edelbrock, but its not a BBK. Its a new make made by Magneti Morelli. There is no huge air leak into the plenum as a result of the BBK defect. However, I appreciate your intelligence in recognizing the possibility of such an event.

The split blm's come from some other rich condition (rich on the right side, lean on the left???) which I think may be created by the new cam I installed?

Ya, I effed with the throttle stop. When the engine is warm, the IAC count reads at about 45.
