I took a flowmaster 80 Series Muffler 3"inlet and 2 2.5" outlet welded a 3" piece over the stock pipe and chopped off the area where the stock pipe was reduced to 2.5" then the outputs I used custom bent 2.5" outlet pipes and expanded the stock tips to 2.5" and used an EasySeal stainless clamp to hold them on. I always get compliments on it's idle sound. There is a HUGE difference between the sound with and without the stock tips!

 

You don't have to get the stock tips welded on...they simply un bolt from the stock pipe...trust me I just did it a little while ago on my buddy's z28
