Can anyone recommend a good 3" resonator that isn't too expensive? I hate drone at highway speeds. Here is my exhaust setup:
SLP Mids
Magnaflow 3" Catalytic Converter
Custom 3" single exhaust being built by me to a 3" flowmaster over the axle pipe and 3" in dual 2.5" out flowmaster muffler (muffler may be changed out for something different after I hear it.)

Also, at what closeness should I start worrying about burning through wires with coated SLP headers? The only wires that worry me are the ones in the starter harness that come from the PCM area and down the inner wheel well. I was thinking about pulling the whole harness up and wrapping it in DEI reflective heat tape that I have. Should have done it first, but oh well.

X2 on heat tape. Many have to replace wires after headers install. better safe than sorry.

Finished mocking up my exhaust, just have to cut up the mandrel I bought to make the S-bend portion and weld/clamp it all up.

After that, I will pull the Y pipe back off and pull the starter harness to wrap it all up in heat tape.

Ordered an OBD 1 conversion PCM from Ion. Should be here next week. I decided on OBD1 so I can buy the tuning program cheaply and scan/tune my car myself when adding more mods. I did not have much trouble tuning my SC/IC/headers/Cam Grand Prix running 14-15 PSI, so in comparison this should be easy.

Steering Rack/Tie Rod ends and SFC's at the end of the month, tires at the beginning of March, Front control arm bushings if I feel up to what looks like a major pain before mid March. Hoping to have it all done by that time, it is usually when the snow starts melting around here.

I think my total investment is going to be $1400-1600. Hopefully it is worth it.

Just got the new steering rack installed with new tie rod ends, and bled the system. Seems to steer tighter in the garage now, lol. There is too much snow to take the car on the street. Hopefully in 3 or so weeks I can get it on the road.

I have been procrastinating on the exhaust and heat taping the starter harness wires, but will have it all done before getting the car on the street.

Also installed the OBD1 conversion PCM, and the car starts and runs with no problems.
