.15 bore took your left side header off? I am confused.

This is a blind guess but sounds like a leaking injector, a dead cylinder, that xfi cam is quite small

XFI 268 specs
Operating Range: 1800-5800 RPM
Duration Advertised: 268° Intake / 276° Exhaust
Duration @ .050'' Lift: 218° Intake / 224° Exhaust
Valve Lift w/1.6 Rockers: .570'' Intake / .565'' Exhaust
Lobe Separation Angle: 113°

So if its idling like a race car, something is indeed wrong. Maybe unplug an injector from the wet cylinder and then move to other cylinders to see if it runs any different. I am sure someone else can give you better advice.

If you bored an LT1 ".15" you would have no cylinder walls left.

Exhaust ports are "wet" with what - oil, coolant, fuel?

Maybe he meant .015 over? Not a normal bore size though. Probably need to stop with the short hand typing, and just explain in detail what you are going through for someone to be able to try and help you.
