I got this wheel free and the other three I'll be picking those up next year after the car is painted. Wanted your opinion on them.

Cool in their own way. If you just glance at them they almost look like wires or rice wheels. None the less they are kool.

They don't look bad. But to me it kinda looks like it doesn't belong, I personally am not into those wheels with a bunch of spokes. I like your c5's better you have in the first pic actually.

I think they look good. Better than the C5's to me, but I am partial to any wheel that has atleast some lip on it. Looks aggresive to me.

The bolt circle for BMW wheels is not the same as for an F-body. Don't use BMW wheels, you run the risk of snapping the wheel studs.

They'd look tighter if you painted them black.

i agree tehy would look better painted.....but the BMW bolt pattern is metric and is a couple millimeters different than our 5x4.75.

BMW is 120mm, vs. 120.65 for the 4th Gen. Not even a "couple millimeters", but enough to induce additional bending stresses into the studs. Studs are designed only for axial tension, not bending. The wheels are lug-centric... they are centered on the axle by the conical lug nuts.

One thought would be to have the the conical portion of the bolt hole relocated by a competent machine shop. Lacking that, as a minimum, I would install the lugs with a torque wrench, carefully tightening them in 10 to15 ft-lb steps in an attempt to get the "error" spread evenly over all 5 studs. And, check the torque frequently, to assure the bending moment in the studs it not causing the lugs to enlarge the conical seats in the wheels, loosening them.

Aesthetically, they look like they don't have enough offset, pushing what is really a fairly narrow rim for a 4th Gen too far toward the outside of the wheel opening. But that's a matter of personal taste.

I like the wheels on the 745i 's would they fit too ?

But with what Fred said above, I think I'll stick with my 10 spokes... Nice though

Thanks for the feedback on the studs..
I am going to think it over before I mount the other wheels.
