Is the Metallic-ceramic coating really necessary with long tube headers?

Yea I would stay away from them. Second they are not long tubes like said before. Third it's HeaDers, not hearers. It may be a typo, but why twice.

those headers....no. Long tubes, yes. The ceramic coating on my shorties only lasted about a year. You will probably see varying opinions on the coating. It all depends on your pocket book.

Actually Pacesetters arent THAT bad. They are lower on my list but they are above BBK in my eyes. Ive had a set of both in my possesion and i liked the pacesetters better. However i recommend spending more and get the MAC's or similar.

If no emmisions, BUY LT's!!!

how much power do they give you? I didn't think I could really afford headers, but some place's have those for like $200, and they are emmissions legal which is a must for cali
