can your local exhaust shop make it work or must you buy the y-pipe?

A local shop could probably do it but it might end up costing jsut as much if not more to just buy the one already made. Get a price quote from a few shops and compare. And some shops might not do it if you arent going to install any cats unless you bring the car on a trailer and say its for the track only, at least thats how it is here in Mass.

Don't count on the hooker y-pipe hooking without having to be bent by a local muffler shop. I know from experience .

I also had to get my hooker Y bent to fit. But it did fit.
