What to do w/ EGR/AIR/sensors w/ Hooker LT's?

The Hooker LT's I got must be the full race version as they have nothing in them what-so-ever for EGR/AIR, or O2 sensors. So, what do I do w/ the EGR pipes on each side, and the AIR (I'm assuming it's AIR) that goes to the passenger side in the rear? Should I just block them off, or what? And I disconnected the O2 sensors and just took them off, should I just leave it like that? I have nowhere to hook up any O2 sim anyways.

First of all,you need O2 sensors. You can buy them and weld them in.The AIR and EGR you can omit with plates.

You should really do your homework before tossing parts on, but I'm not your mom .

You either need to pull the headers and weld the O2 fittings in them (collectors), or put the bungs into the y-pipe. Either way you need O2 sensors, and you will also need O2 wire extensions.

I don't understand why you can't just hook up o2 sims and leave it at that. What dofference does it make if you have the sensors or not, if you get the sims they tell the computer that you have the optimum air/fuel ratio, right? I don't have sims and I do not understand fully how they work, but I am correct, right?

Your car wont exit out of open loop unless you have the front o2 sensors. front o2s are used to tell the pcm how rich/lean the exhaust is and it will make fuel adjustments accordingly. the rear o2s merely tell the pcm that the cats are functioning properly.

Weld your O2 bungs in the collectors on the Headers (this is for the front 2 O2 sensors)....O2 sims, hook them up to the rear O2 connections and zip tie them out of the way above the transmission somewhere. Buy O2 extensions for the front O2 sensors (3 ft ones, believe me you'll need the long ones), you have to have those or as said earlier the car is not going to run worth a sh*t. depending if you have to worry about emissions or not, take out all that smog stuff out, for the EGR, you can just create a block off plate for the back of the intake and just eliminate the EGR completely.
If you are running OBD1 I don't think you need the O2 sims...thats only for OBD2 cars.

I am finishing up a Jet Hot LT install now.
You will need O2 bungs welded into your headers or your Ypipe, you will need O2 extensions or extend the wire yourself (thats what I am doing) You will need to relocate your ABS wires for the front wheel sesors, you will need to relocate and extend your starter wires, knock sesor wire, and the ground wire. EGR and AIR have to be removed. You will have to protect your fuel lines if going with a true dual setup. Thermo Tec heat tape for mine.
Your Evap core plastic will melt if you don,t protect it. I don,t have AC anymore so I am not worrying about it for now, although it depends on how bad it is going to get.

Not just a simple bolt on is it?
