What do I do about the EGR tube?

I'm going to take my passenger side manifold off, but obviously can't until the EGR tube is disconnected or cut.....should I try and cut it w/some aviation snips?

Why not just unbolt it? It should only be one bolt after all.

Why not unbolt it from the back of the intake manifold, and remove the tube with the exhaust manifold. Then with the exhuast manifold off, you can remove the single bolt that attaches the tube to the #8 exhaust runner.

Why are you thinking about curring it off?

It's really hard to get my hand back there, but I'll give it a try tomorrow....I figured I could just reach back there and cut it, but I'll try unbolting it tomorrow. Anyone know what size it is?

Unbolting it from the manifold was hard for me, because it was on there TIGHT! Barely was able to get it unbolted. Removing the bolts from the back of the intake is much easier.

And who knows, someone may want to buy that pipe down the line. I think I got rid of mine for just shipping though.
