What to do have Rust on Cylinder Walls
I bought a used engine to swap into my firebird and before I got the heads on the cylinder walls got a chance to surface rust. What should I use to clean this up? Brad
I have a digicam but recently purchased a new PC and dont have the upload software
It is only rust from sitting for 2 days when it rained. Was very humid afterwards and no it didnt get rained on, lol.

It's probably inconsequential surface rust - unprotected iron will do that almost immediately in moist air. You have peaks and valleys in the cylinder hone pattern, and you probably can't scrub the rust out of the scratches without an abrasive - you should probably just clean them up with paper towles or lint free rags and wd or something similar and call it a day. I suppose you could use a scrub brush if you wanted. I had that happen to me a couple times in the past and nothing came of it.
