what diameter exhaust??

what diameter exhaust??

ok got a stock lt1 and im puttin on pacesetter LT with true duals before the axle dumped...car already has cai and i wont drive it much until i get 1.6 rr, what size exhaust should i go with after the headers...3 inch down to 2.5??? i kno if i was doing catback it woud b a 3 inch but what about true duals, wat does 3 inch equal 2x2.5 inch...or somehtin else
please i need inquiry quick...thanks

if you are doing duals just run 3". with that much pipe you dont even have to worry about a crossover pipe.

I would think 2.5 inch would be good enough and it would give you more clearance to fit it in there.

the 2.5" will fit but the collectors on the headers are 3" and the outside diatmeter of the mufflers should be the same between the 2.5 and 3" inlets. personally, i think running duals on a 4th gen is stupid considering ive got a buddy with a 3" borla catback making 450rwhp on the motor and 605rwhp on the bottle, but whatever floats your boat man.
