What DD camshaft?

alright, looking for a camshaft for a daily driver/weekend cruiser.
Looking for 11.60s on drag radials, gears, stall, etc.
Since the E/T *may* be unrealistic, id like to trap 114ish

The four contestants right now are
crane 227
cc503
"466" XFi - 218 / 224, .570 / .565 113 LSA (with 1.6s)
Lunati "60121" - 219/227 .550/.565 112 LSA (with 1.6s)

Going to run 3.73 gears, 1.6 rrs, bolt ons, EWP, good tune, full suspension (minus torque arm unless i can get it to work with the duals).

I mean, i would THINK any of them would work, just wondering what you guys think and what you would do.

If you suggest something different, let me know.

I'm going the CC501 route due to smog but if it wasn't then I would be using the CC503.

What, no LT4 hot cam here. It is dated but still popular.

Did you mean 12.60 or are you leaving out some very signifigant mods?

You don't actually think 11.60 cam only in a daily driver is going to happen do you????

11.60 cam only is doable but would not be something the average person would accomplish nor would it be anywhere near daily driver trim.

idk, i think 11.60 cam only is doable, i mean, i have a friend running 12.20s bolt ons. If i had sticky tires and a 3500 or so stall, id think i could do 12.60s. Heads will *eventually* be the dart pro-1s, right now i have 641 heads that will receive a little port work.

We will say for my goal then, I want to trap 114ish.

11.60's is a tall order if you had good heads with those cams you ask about....doing it cam only with one of those camshafts and street manners, not going to happen. Sorry to burst your bubble.....

Your looking at heads/cam and a good overall set up to run those times in a street car.

i am pretty sure you corrected yourself here

not that its impossible, just not very likely at all. not in a daily driver

Mike - out of those, what do you recommend?
And, would you recommend the dart pro-1 heads, or a set of LE2s?
i will eventually get the darts reworked, so, im leaning towards those.

your budget is going to answer that for you, the darts are better when ported but gonna cost alot more

yeah, i havent seen a build using the darts yet, and its kind of worrying me, but ive been assured that they are awesome, and flow around 260 on the intake at around .500 out of the box IIRC
