what kind of compression does the 1997 LT1 have

 

OK, I will rephrase the question. I did a search and couldnt fin this anywhere on the forum. Now I know somebody on here has to know this, or know where I can find it.

What is the compression ratio of a Stock 1997 LT1?

stock compression is 10.4:1

I thought the LT1 was 10.5:1.

Oh man, no one agrees. I'll check my owners manual and factory service manual. There is a similar disagreement on what compression the L05 in my Caprice is. 9.8:1 vs whatever someone else thinks. Doesn't really matter, obviously.
