I am in the proccess of finishing my 406 to a t-56 combo and need some help in desiding what cluthc to use. This combo will make just over 500 ft. lbs. of torque. Any suggestions? I was thinking of a Spec 3 or a Ram clutch. Any help would be great. I want to get it on order today so I can get the motor balanced.

 

Try the drivetrain forum.....I purchased a SPEC stage 3 with my supercharger....it held until I busted a ringland.

If you wanna your rear or tranny....go ahead with the Mcleod. If my SPEC doesn't hold i'm going auto....not messing with a $1000 clutch that will cost more in drivetrain repairs.
