What causes bucking and surging at low RPM in low gear???
In first through third gear I get a little bucking on light throttle and low rpm (up to 1500). I wonder what it's from and if I could fix it. Some people say that relocating the MAF to the pressure side of the blower will fix it but I'm not so sure that's the problem. Thanks.

Other than an exhaust leak my car is running better than ever. I just got 270 miles to my last tank, that's with 38# injectors a Trex and a blower... plug wires and autolite plugs have no more than 4 or 5k on them but I just took a couple out a few days ago and they look good. No codes whatsoever. It's just a slight bucking... usually only I can feel it when I'm driving it passengers don't feel it.

I think it was happening before the blower too but I can't really remember. The programming was done by PCMforless, do you think he can do something about it???
The car has the stock cam... i don't know if it can cause surging.

It could very well be the programming. I've been reading the messages from TunerCat. The guys with blowers really watch the IAC count. Should be at 40-55 counts. No more. Get FreeScan or some monitoring device and send the data to Bryan so he can reprogram the PCM for your blower (fine tune).

Since you got the OBDI conversion, I would also agree that you should do a freescan and sent the data to Bryan then have him retune the car for the stumbling and drivability. It may be timing but also A/F may be off.
My experience (not quite the same)
One thing that help me a lot was smoothing out the close throttle spark adv table since on the 96 OBDII it has a big dip at 1200-2000rpm, increasing that makes my car drive better. I use to have a stumbling problem where if I have light throttle to almost close throttle, the car will stumble, it's greatly improved now. (it's when I am not accelerating or decelerating) It used to be so bad that the check engine light will come on briefly and then disappear.
good luck
