Electricity takes the path of least resistance, so if there's a gap that's easier to bridge than the one on the spark plug, it will take that route instead. Did you use di-electric grease? The boots should make popping noises when you pull them off the terminals. Other than that, just make sure all the boots are as snug as possible. Use electrical tape if neccessary. That's what I'm using right now as either my belt or pulley decided to wear through my #4 wire- on my Accel Extreme 9000s . It made it right to the conductor and then the cylinder went dead.- What's funny is I found out by pulling off the connectors for the injectors one at a time till I found one that didn't have any effect.

I am bringing my car back to the people who installed my plugs/wire and they said theyre going to check it out.

if there is only some places arching, do I have to replace those plugs with the same plugs that is on the other cylinders?

I guess what I mean is I am using NGK TR55, if one plug is crack, can I replace that plug with something else?

is TR55 easily available? thanks

again, what is the cause of arching?
