Question What can I expect for MPG on my le2 383 setup? ---

I searched, and realize that these cars are all set up differently ... but what "range" can I expect to see out of my le2 383 m6 with 4.10's and ALL the supporting mods ( no corners cut ) ... on a good dyno tune?

Thanks for the time ---

Too many variables, but it mainly depends on how you drive the car.

I wouldn't expect much more than 12mpg around town.

I'd guess on an average if you drive it nice and drive it on highway often about 14mpg maybe 15. Just a guess though.

After i got done with my stroker, I drove it to florida for spring break. It got 23 mpg. Never checked it around town but would guess to be in mid teens. This was with my 10 bolt and 3.42s. Not bad for 440RWHP 425 FT.LBS

Thats about what I average too for the highway. Usually around 21-23 with my 4.10. As far around town, I am usually around 10-12.

On a side note... Jonez, those are some good dyno numbers. Similar to what I did, but why is your trap speed so low?

Most people with le2 setups dont drive them every day so gas milage isnt probably measured. Considering that it gets beat on it going to be real bad. 9-14 in the city depending on how many wot bursts. 20-22hwy.
This is just a guess based off a few friends cars.

I can live with those numbers .... I will drive about 160 highway miles to work a week ... and about 40 miles in stop and go. Right now I am close to 350 crank hp and have a hard time getting 20mpg on a tank, lol ... thanks guys for the input ---

I say 12 MPG city, 20 MPG HW.
The cam is the big killer of mileage.

I get 14 MPG city on mine and 22 MPG HW.

I guess i cant drive. > look at my 60 ft. times....horrible
A few suspension mods prolly wouldnt hurt either.

Sorry, but a monkey can drive the mph...very little influence, for 440rwhp, of the 60' time on overall mph. I agree there is some correlation, but for what you're supposedly making on a Dynojet, your speed is about 8 mph off.

Bryan Herter tuned my car and saw it make the those numbers. They arent in any way padded. Like I said those numbers were with a 10 bolt. That accounts for some mph loss from my 12 bolt robbing power. As to why you think im 8 mph off... i dunno...maybe my car has lead hidden somewhere.

It only took me 322rwhp to trap 111, and 352rwhp to trap 115, so your trap speeds are extreemly low.
