Idk what the deal was. Ill be honest, the wire quality of the MSD seemed pretty good so I am going to blame that one on myself or just misfortune. The taylors however, I am sorry but that was entirely a **** product. Those things were a firework show in broad daylight, and it wasnt just here or there.

Had multiple sets of taylor over the years and done the work for different cars, never an issue... we just did them right.

How could I have done them wrong if the spark was arcing out of the wire itself? (mostly to the headers) They were also arcing out of the plug caps that were pre-crimped for you. you only had to crimp the opti boots, so obviously spark was getting past that point. If I had damaged the wires at all it would have been by the opti boots, not way up by the spark plugs. The MSDs never arced at all.

I am not saying its impossible to have a good experience with taylor wires, but there is plenty of evidence on this board that they are a hit or miss product. Definitely one of my most regretted purchases that considered.

I owe my life to you as usual
