I'm running an LE2 cam. PM NightTrain66 for details. Its like a GM 847 cam.

 

My friend has a cam bigger than that (233 @ .050) with mild headwork and is going near 10s (11.03) on a 150 shot with a STOCK BOTTOM END 350 LT1.

So, once again that cam sucks. You can go 11s on a bolt-on car + nitrous, as shown by Joe Brodman and many many many many others.

I wouldn't brag about mid 11s on nitrous + heads/cam. Most people with good headwork + a nice cam go mid 11s on motor when everything is set up.

The heads flow 270/195. Also has a built trans with 4000 stall, 3.42 gears
240/240 .600/.600 112 sounds good! Do you have any track times or dyno numbers with that setup?

 

The LE2s regularly put out around 420rwhp and trap 116-118mph. ETs are usually around mid to high 11s.

 

Did u miss the part where I said UNTUNED!STOCK FUEL SYSTEM! if I tuned it and put a fuel system on it i could spray the car into the 9's!

 

I went with the CC 306 and made 414 RWHP/ 413 RWTQ and there is still more in it. I had a miss the day I tuned so I think it should be capable of 425+ with more tuning. I know there are newer cams out there that can make nore HP but I still get 19 MPG driving back and fourth to work and am hoping for 26 MPG + Hwy. If your interested my heads are AFR 195's and my CR is a fairley low 10.7:1

So? THAT car doesn't go 9s...or 10s.....or low 11s.

That's almost as stupid as saying "Hey! I have a 6 second motorcycle, but my LT1 goes 11s! In that case, my LT1 should go 9s, easily."

I can gain 2 tenths just by lacing up my Nike sneakers tighter.

 

Put in a nasty 250/260@50 on a 108+4 with .685 lift SR and make some real HP will ya.

 

That combo COULD be a high 9 second combination with a fuel system and LT1 Edit to tune it!I didnt say it could be as is...I said WITH A FUEL SYSTEM!

I COULD spray the car INTO the 9's with a good fuel system!If It was fully tuned for the 150 shot as it,i could go 10.90's.If I fully tuned it then sprayed it Hard It would go 10.0's 9.90'....

 

You could go 10.9's N/A with that CID and it being RIGHT.---- Doing that--- Of course the heads, cam, fuel,and intake would have to be RIGHT.

Of course.But the heads are mildly ported along with the intake. The motor was built to run on nitrous it wasnt built to run n/a.

 

The smaller the heads the bigger the cam has to be to make it perform.
As far as "it is built to run on N2O" goes-- it's an excuse people use when they get outrun by a N/A car.
Make it run on motor then add the power adder.
