What is the best Catalytic Converters?

I have been searching for a new Catalytic Converter, and I'm not shore which one to go with. I have done a search and still a little confused, but then that is my normal state! I have just installed my borla cat-back system and I'm installing AS&M Headers here next week (Waiting for them to arrive).

So I'm looking for some advice on what others are using, for those that are still using Catalytic Converters. Any help would be greatly apprecitated. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply, I was looking at Car Sound Cats? Are they any good? I read a post here about the Car Sound Cats and they look like they flow really well. But, I don't see one for the Camaro's? Does anyone have a Car Sound Cat? If so which one works for our cars? Thanks again for everyone's help.

Carsound are one of the highest flowing cats available. I'd go with Carsound over Random Technology since they flow pretty much the same, but cost a lot less.

I have a CATCO on mine and it passes SMOG with no problems. But I usually run my off-road pipe instaed. The CATCO was also only about $50 bucks if I remember right, I got it from JEGS or Summit.

Doesnt the Random Cats move the position of the driver side cat and therefor make it illegal?

As long as its close to the factory location it should be okay. I have never seen a smog tech get a ruler out to check a 1/4 inch here or there. But you never know.

I am using the Random Tech dual cat Y-pipe and making pretty big hp. So I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, but cost isn't usually how I decide on parts.

If you're going with the AZ headers, the Random Tech Cat will bolt right up.
