What all factory cd players will work in a 93 firebird?

I see them listed as 95 and up, and 93-94, whats the difference? Can I make a 95 one work in my 93? I want to use a stock one for it and justg plain easier to use.

Find a buick road master from the same year or another T/A. The 93 is an odd year on many things and one of em is the stereo.

Factory 93 cd players suck, mine never would read cds for some reason. Get something aftermarket.

You can use the 94 ups but there will be a few differences that might not matter to most people, the main diff is that your steering wheels controls will not work on firebirds, and if its a Bose the speakers will be underpowered.

I don't have the wheel controls, no problems there. I don't think its a bose system either. I had a bose system in my 93 z, it wasn't loiud enough, but did sound good, thanks for the info guys!

GM radios are universal, the only real changes were harness design that changed in I belive 87. Otherwise all GM radios will work in other GM's with the exception of BOSE and MONSOON units.
