Because of the obd1 problem I decided to switch my tranny to a 700r4. Unfortunately I've lost a couple mph that I think may be due to my converter no longer locking up in 3rd. Have any of you guys tried a manual lockup switch for your converter and what have been the results?

 

Yes, locking the converter will help a bit. I don't know if it will be 2 mph, but you will see at least 1.

I found a way to wire and program the 94+ PCM to control the lockup on a 700R4 but didn't get a chance to test it yet.
