what is the actuators?

in the fuse block under the hood i have a fuse called the actuators, to make a long story short i smashed the Driver side O2 wires in between the valve cover and the head and it blew that fuse. however now i put a new fuse in and as soon as i turn the key to the run position the fuse pops. so what is the actuators, the car seem to run fine tho

btw the car is a 96 trans am

Re: what is the actuators?

That's strange. The O2s should be on the ENG SENSOR fuse.

The ACTUATORS fuse powers the EGR and EVAP solenoids.
