What is this

I found a plug capped off at the back right side of my motor and I'm trying to figure out what it is. any ideas?

That is the vacuum line from the EGR solenoid to the EGR valve. Maybe yours has been removed. Do yourself a favor and visit my Tech Page. There are lots of pics of most things on the car and engine there.

...and I know that you have been asked by at least one person to add a signature with car info. You should do that.

What about these ? Im guess the one on the right in the picture is for AIR but what about the other one?

The one in the front is for the AIR. The one in the back, on #8 priimary is the connection for the EGR riser tube. Again, Shoebox has photos of the stock EGR system. Its the connection for the corrugated tube in this photo:
