I have a code showing 0441 Evap system no purge flow, As I was looking around the Evap system I came accross this hose under my solenoid I dont see anywhere it would connect to and dont even know if it would connect to anything, Does anyone know what this is and if it connects to something? Maybe it could be causing the code???

Pictures are too small and dark to tell what they are. If you look at the exploded view of the 96/97 EEC system on Shoebox's website, you will see there is a vent hose on the flow detector (part 15) that is not supposed to be connected to anything.

P0441 indicates that there is vacuum in the purge line when the purge solenoid is supposed to be closed. Could indicate the solenoid is stuck open. Or it might be a faulty flow detector switch.

 

Thanks man... I pulled out the solenoid and found some charcoal in it, I cleaned it all out and am going to pull the canister off tomorrow and check the filter. Also went over to autozone a cleared the code hopefully it doesnt come back.
