On top of the driver side valve coverthere is a cylinder looking device that has a cover that says throttle response or something. Every picture i look of a camaro engine they dont have it there. Did everybody move theres or get rid of it.

Even as an option, it wasn't actually available until part way through the 1995 model year. So you will not see any 93 or 94 models with it.

my 94 z28 has TC. i know because when i have to brake real hard all of a sudden, the car seems to give up braking and roll a little further at the end, like its trying to keep from loosing traction and the low traction light comes on.

Not true, My 94 has the idiot light for traction control, but it never was installed.

Do you have traction control?
lt1hatesme:
Since you are sure you have TCS, do you have the big black box bolted to the top of your driver's side valve cover? Do you have a TCS defeat switch on your console? When you floor it, does TCS prevent you from losing traction and spinning the wheels?
What you are describing it not the action of the TCS system. What you are describing is the action of the ABS system (perhaps not working correctly) and the "LOW TRAC" light is coming on to show that your ABS is activated.

ASR will occur when you floor it from a stop and you get the pedal kicking your leg back.

Yes... the "LOW TRAC" light was installed in the dash, because they EXPECTED to make the traction control option available in 1994, but they had production problems, and it was never available. Then they advertised it in the 1995 brochures, but didn't make it available until later in the year, because they still had the production problems.
