Stock "used" to mean the way the car left the showroom floor. But when they start threads about "what did your stock LT1 run?" it usually goes like this:

I ran 14.1 @ 99 stock

I ran 14.3 @ 97 stock

I ran 14.0 @ 100 stock with a cut-out

I ran 13.6 @ 103 stock with a CAI, HPP3 and Borla

I ran 12.9 @ 108 stock with a CC306, Hooker LTs, 2800 stall and 3.73s

You know how it goes........

 

I'd define stock as off the lot or off the production line. Stock head or stock bottom end, now thats a whole different ball game.
