Any 1 peice rear main seal 3.75 stroke crank will work, heed their rod recomendation (length) for the crank.

I have used the Eagle and scat 9000 cast steel cranks in my LT1, both balanced very cheaply.

We carry a variety of crankshafts by Eagle, Callies and Compstar for your 383. Please feel free to browse our site and contact us with any questions you may have.

#1 place www.summitracing.com free 1-2 day shipping and the lowest prices, not even ebay can beat them, I just built my 383 from there.

I noticed Victory is pretty well matching the price Summit has listed.

Go here: http://www.ohiocrank.com/sbcCranks.html
They've got 4340 cranks for $445 for what you need. Their lightweight cranks are less than anyone else I've priced for a regular unit. They can probably put together a balanced rotating assembly for a couple hun less than elsewhere too.
