Went to the dyno yesterday.



And she put down 262hp and 295 ft/lbs with the mods in my sig. On the first 2 runs i had some knock retard. I think 7º on the first and 4º on the second. On the 3rd run we turned off the knock sensor when going WOT through tunercat, and i guess he left it off when going WOT either that or im not getting any knock at WOT. But at part throttle i still get some retard occasionally. Im running 92 octaine with a bottle of 104 octaine booster. So where am i getting this knock retard from. I have a LT4 KM and i had Ion at madz28 desensitize the knock sensor a little bit. Ill have a graph up when i get it from the dyno.

The octane boost isn't doing anything for you so you are basically on pump gas. Did you go to the dyno after getting you computer back from Ion? Try running race gas next time you fill up and see if it goes away. He can be aggressive with his timing sometimes, so you might need to pull some out. When I got my PCM back from him, I had to send it back so he could pull timing on mine as well. I was getting up to 8*, but after I got it back everything was great and I don't have any now.

Don't feel so bad, I only put down 262hp and 280tq to the wheels when I went to the dyno....but my car is running very lean, still havent found or fixed the problem yet. How was the AF looking?

The AF was about 12.8 all the way across the board. Its pretty straight. I post up a graph when i get it from the dyno.
