But you see this is just the thing, I heard otherwise...and now I am leaning towards believing you have to take it out. Because the person that installed my EWP left it in like you just said, and it ended up making a whole heap of problems for me. I'll put it this way, the water pump drive shaft is missing quite a few teeth now lol.
