The A/C Compressor is seized. To replace it and all the little crap that goes with, and labor, I'm looking at around
$900.

This sucks, but hey, at least I'll have A/C for the summer.

If you have the patience, and time do it yourself fine a (used unit $50+/new unit $125+) Save your money and get ride of the horsepower killer anyway. If you take on the project all you have to do is buy another unit and pay for A/C service to recharge it once you install it back on.
